Who decides?

Who decides how we combat global poverty?
Who decides how we address climate change?
Who decides when war is legal?
Who decides when migration is a crime?
Who decides what is a human right?

Every day, decisions are made that affect the whole world. Decisions that will affect you whether you live in Scotland, or Sri Lanka, South Africa or El Salvador.

But we do not all have an equal say in these decisions, which are unfairly dominated by the governments of rich and powerful countries, and undemocratic institutions such as the UN Security Council, World Trade Organisation, and World Bank.

We want to change that.

People should have an equal say in the issues that affect them, from the local to the global level.

We're taking action to make this happen. Find out more.
